Fire Safety Education

Small habits.
Lifesaving outcomes.

Most home fires are preventable. We teach the simple steps that protect families, schools, and entire neighborhoods — one demonstration at a time.

Four essentials

Start with what works.

These are the same principles we cover in every school visit and community event. Simple, repeatable, and proven.

Install smoke alarms

Place alarms on every level, inside every bedroom, and outside sleeping areas. Test them monthly and replace batteries at least once a year.

Plan two ways out

Practice a home fire-escape plan with your family twice a year. Identify two ways out of every room and a meeting place outside.

Stop. Drop. Roll.

If your clothes catch fire — stop where you are, drop to the ground, cover your face, and roll over and over until the flames are out.

Cook with care

Stay in the kitchen while frying, grilling, or broiling. Keep anything that can burn at least three feet from the stovetop.
